5 Video Apps to Help you Create Awesome Videos

I don’t need to tell you how important it is for you to use video marketing. But creating videos can be a challenge, sometimes even impossible. As an agency, we need to be able to create awesome videos for our clients on a regular basis, at a low cost.  So naturally we’re always looking for new ways to efficiently create unique content. That’s where these handy video apps come in.

We’ve compiled a list of video content creation apps for mobile and/or desktop that you should be using right now.  Some of them are free and some are paid.  Either way, this should get you started on creating some really cool video content. Here we go!

1. FilmoraGo – (Free to use with in-app purchases)

FilmoraGo is an iPhone/Android video creation app that takes everyday videos and turns them into works of art.  Select your video, add a theme, text, music, and voiceovers. All without a watermark or time limit.

2. Legend – (Free on Android/$1.99 on iOS)

Legend takes ordinary text and renders it in HD animated kinetic typography.  Perfect for video introductions or every day social media announcements.  Add your own photos to make it even more personalized. While there is no desktop version right now, it’s available on iOS and Android devices.

3. Magisto – (Free to use – in-app purchases and subscriptions can be up to $200)

This powerful video creation app is available on desktop, iPhone & Android.  Another delightfully simple app, just select your content (photo or video), pick a theme, add music/text, away you go.

4. Adobe Spark Video – (Free to use)

Adobe Spark Video is an app that seems to be the end all, be all of video apps. In just a couple of minutes, you’ll have a beautiful, HD video with animated text, overlays, and music.  Then share it effortlessly to any social network you wish.  The only downside is that the final frame is a branded Adobe slide which can be quickly edited out with some basic editing knowledge.  Available on iOS, Android and desktop.

5. Hype Type – (Free with in-app purchases)

Hype Type is one of the best Free iOS video apps that lets you add animated text over any photos or videos.  Just select the content you want to edit, and Hype Type will add a variety of text animations over it. There are some in-app purchases but the app is completely Free to use!
